Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the refund, withdrawal, and subscription cancellation rules that apply to purchases of Tech Vision digital publications and subscriptions.
Payments for Tech Vision products and subscriptions may be processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Transactions processed by Paddle are subject to Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, together with any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
1. General Refund Policy
Except where required by applicable law, transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Paddle may issue refunds on a discretionary basis, including where a refund request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Paddle reviews discretionary refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may consider factors including the nature of the product, the reason for the request, product usage or consumption, and applicable contractual terms.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. If applicable consumer law or Paddle’s applicable terms provide you with greater rights, those rights will apply.
2. Statutory Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights
Depending on your country or region, applicable consumer law may provide a statutory right to withdraw from or cancel certain digital-content or service transactions within a specified period.
For example, eligible consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from certain digital-content and service contracts. Similar rights or different statutory periods may apply in other jurisdictions.
The availability and duration of these rights depend on applicable law, the type of transaction, whether the purchase is a one-time purchase or subscription, and whether digital content has already been downloaded, accessed, streamed, used, or otherwise supplied.
Where permitted by applicable law, a statutory withdrawal right relating to immediately supplied digital content may cease once supply or use of the digital content begins after the consumer has provided any consent or acknowledgment required by law.
For the specific withdrawal or cancellation period applicable to your transaction, please refer to Paddle’s Refund Policy and the consumer-protection laws applicable to your location.
3. Digital Publications
Tech Vision publications are digital products delivered electronically through your Tech Vision account and My Library. No physical product is shipped unless expressly stated otherwise.
After successful payment and fulfillment, the purchased publication is normally made available through My Library for immediate digital access.
Where a publication has been successfully delivered and made accessible, a change of mind, failure to read or use the publication, or dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference does not automatically create a right to a refund, except where a statutory right applies or Paddle approves a refund under its applicable Refund Policy.
4. Annual Digital Pass
The Annual Digital Pass is a recurring subscription that renews automatically unless canceled before the applicable renewal.
Canceling an Annual Digital Pass prevents future renewal charges but does not, by itself, constitute a refund request or automatically refund a payment that has already been completed.
Unless a refund, withdrawal, or other remedy applies, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and membership access remains available until that time.
Publications validly acquired and added to your My Library during an eligible paid membership period remain associated with your account in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, unless the transaction through which the relevant access was obtained is refunded, reversed, or otherwise invalidated.
5. Technical Problems and Failed Delivery
If payment has been successfully completed but the purchased publication or membership entitlement is not made available to your Tech Vision account, please contact us so that we can investigate the issue.
Where reasonably possible, we will first attempt to correct the entitlement, restore access, or otherwise provide the product or service that was purchased.
If a persistent material technical problem or product defect prevents you from accessing the product or benefits as described and the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy under applicable consumer law or Paddle’s applicable Refund Policy.
6. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same intended transaction, or that a transaction was processed incorrectly, please contact Paddle Buyer Support or contact us so that the transaction can be reviewed.
Where an erroneous or duplicate charge is confirmed, the applicable transaction may be refunded or otherwise corrected in accordance with Paddle’s procedures and applicable law.
7. Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe a Tech Vision transaction processed through Paddle was made without your authorization, please contact Paddle Buyer Support promptly so that the transaction can be reviewed under Paddle’s payment, fraud, and dispute procedures.
You may also contact Tech Vision if information associated with your Tech Vision account may assist in investigating the transaction.
8. Effect of a Refund or Payment Reversal
If a transaction is refunded, reversed, charged back, or otherwise invalidated, access to the product associated with that transaction may be removed or suspended from your Tech Vision account and My Library where appropriate.
For subscription transactions, membership status and related access may also be adjusted to reflect the refunded or reversed transaction.
A refund or reversal does not affect publications that you separately purchased or otherwise validly acquired through transactions that remain valid.
9. How to Request a Refund or Exercise a Withdrawal Right
For transactions processed through Paddle, refund and eligible withdrawal requests may be submitted using the support or transaction-management options provided by Paddle, including Paddle Buyer Support or the Paddle Customer Portal where applicable.
You may also contact Tech Vision if you need assistance with digital delivery, account access, entitlement issues, or information relating to your purchase.
Please provide sufficient information to identify the transaction, such as the email address associated with the purchase and relevant transaction details. Do not send complete payment-card numbers or card security codes to Tech Vision.
10. Refund Processing
Refunds approved for transactions processed through Paddle are processed by Paddle in accordance with its applicable Refund Policy and payment procedures.
Where possible, refunds are generally returned through the applicable original payment method. Processing and settlement times may vary depending on the payment method, financial institution, payment network, jurisdiction, and circumstances of the transaction.
Because Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through its service, Tech Vision does not independently send off-platform repayments to buyers for those transactions. Where Tech Vision agrees that a refund should be issued, the refund will be handled through the applicable Paddle process.
11. Relationship with Paddle’s Refund Policy
This Refund Policy describes Tech Vision’s policies and is intended to operate together with Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy for transactions processed through Paddle.
Paddle may provide statutory withdrawal rights, country-specific consumer protections, discretionary refunds, or other remedies depending on the circumstances of a transaction.
If Paddle’s applicable terms, applicable consumer law, or another non-waivable legal right provides greater protection than this Refund Policy, the greater protection will apply.
12. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, subscriptions, payment arrangements, Paddle requirements, or applicable law.
When we update this Refund Policy, the revised version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be updated.
Any update will remain subject to mandatory rights applicable to transactions entered into before or after the change, as required by applicable law.
